WMDA spends a lot of time and effort to present its tourism potential in Asian countries. In the summer of 2014, more than 1000 people have come to our region from Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and some other Asian countries to see the rose gardens and the facilities producing rose oil. Isparta produces 65% of total rose oil by itself, produced around the globe. Therefore, it is very important for the economy of the city and it is a great value for not only our region, but also the entire World. During the exhibition, thousands of people have visited our booth and they were able to have a little scent of real rose water brought from Isparta.

After completion of the exhibition and the meetings, the Board Members and staff of the Agency have visited South Korea as well and conducted another intro seminar for the representatives of Korean magazines, newspapers and TV channels. The senior officials of 25 of these institutions have attended the event and got informed about the historical and natural beauties of our region.
